My Apartment
This is the living area, and the model in front of the TV is of course, Ammar. I got the IKEA couch for only $100, and it costs more than $400. It's less than two years old, and the previous owner were a German couple, who was here for a 2 year exchange with UCLA. So, I got it from craigslist. The funny thing was that I surfed the craigslist to get a Queen-sized bed and found their ad posted. So, Paco, Nicky and me went to their place, which is near Melrose (*wink *wink), and instead of a Queen-sized bed, I got a whole bunch of things from them at only $300. The items I got were (all IKEA let me tell you!!) - A Queen-sized bed and mattress, dining table (only), couch. These items were $300, but they threw in a whole bunch of things for free - 5 IKEA LACK sidetables, 2 IKEA lamps, an IKEA starterbox which is full of plates, mugs, glasses, cooking utensils, forks and spoons, a whole bunch of containers for cooking items, 2 IKEA pillows, 2 IKEA quilts, spare IKEA bulbs for the lamps (which were floor lamp and table lamp)... and other misc stuffs.
